NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a seasonal Maintenance Employee at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, WA . Our maintenance teams take pride in maintaining our grounds with attention to detail and tradition, ensuring every family’s unique experience is honored. Responsibilities

• General Facility Maintenance, including o:
  • Cleans and maintains the facility, performs minor repairs, painting, etc.
  • Vehicle and equipment washing/cleaning
• Groundskeeping, including:
  • Cuts grass.
  • Maintains lawn and trims around trees, walkways, and memorial markers
  • Blows leaf and grass
  • Edges with stick edger
  • Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
  • Cleans ponds and fountains
  • Hand digs/trenching
• Pressure washing parking areas as needed

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
• 6 + months of experience in grounds keeping preferred

Compensation

• $17.13-$18.00/hr.
