Job Type: Independent Contractor (Commission-Based Only)
Projected First-Year Income: $75,000 – $195,000

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking Independent Sales Representatives to join our team at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Hawaii. In this role, you’ll help families plan ahead with confidence and compassion—offering peace of mind while building a rewarding career.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Closer: You’re confident in your ability to close sales on the first call and have the track record to prove it.
  • Experienced Seller: You bring at least 2 years of direct or in-home sales experience and consistently meet or exceed quotas.
  • Natural Communicator: Your emotional intelligence and presentation skills make you a trusted advisor.
  • Self-Motivated: You’re disciplined, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented.
  • Community-Oriented: You enjoy building relationships and becoming a trusted resource in your area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships within the community to educate families on pre-need planning.
  • Set appointments and deliver compelling presentations using our pre-planning guide.
  • Accurately complete contracts using our proprietary software, Navigator.
  • Track sales activity and performance metrics to identify strengths and areas for growth.
  • Use Velocify to manage contacts and ensure timely, professional follow-up.
  • Prospect consistently through cold calling, door-to-door outreach, mailers, seminars, and local events.
  • Stay informed on relevant topics such as veterans’ benefits, Social Security, and end-of-life planning.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and a “whatever it takes” attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of direct or in-home sales experience
  • 2+ years of public speaking or presentation experience

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
