Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships within the community to educate families on pre-planning options.
• Conduct professional presentations and tours of cemetery and funeral home facilities.
• Guide families through the selection of cemetery property, merchandise, and services.
• Accurately complete contracts and documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activity and client interactions using CRM tools.
• Prospect daily through various methods including cold calling, door-to-door outreach, mailers, seminars, and community events.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Maryland Funeral Director License (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral and cemetery industry

Compensation

$44,000 – $125,000 (Commission-based with unlimited earning potential)
