We are currently seeking a dynamic Part-Time Outside Sales Representative SMART - Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for generating pre-need sales within your assigned market area.
Job Description:
- Cultivate community relationships to educate and guide families in preplanning decisions
- Excel in setting appointments and delivering preplanning guide presentations
- Utilize Navigator to complete contracts promptly, neatly, and accurately
- Track all sales activity and ratios to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Use Shape CRM to manage contacts and ensure professional follow-up
- Prospect regularly using various methods, including mailers, seminars, and outside events
- Provide world-class customer service with a positive attitude and a willingness to do “whatever it takes”
- Stay current on relevant topics such as veteran’s benefits, social security benefits, and end-of-life decisions
Responsibilities:
- Report sales activity to the manager weekly (unless directed otherwise)
- Operate independently with minimal supervision
- Build trust and utilize consultative selling techniques
- Exhibit proficiency in presentation and closing techniques
- Develop and sustain community relationships
- Communicate with professionalism and tact
- Perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
- Manage difficult situations with confidence and empathy
- Maintain reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record
- Achieve quarterly sales targets
